Better than Average Move… I was impressed with Sinclair. They picked up on time, dropped off on time, and were courteous and respectful the whole time. One loose item was broken while loading, but they were honest about it, and the foreman offerred to pay for it on the spot. I would definitely use them again if I still live in the Philly area. The price was $2369 for a 2 BR house. I packed myself, but they disassembled the large furniture, loaded everyting, unloaded everything, and re-assembled the furniture. It took 2 days from pickup to delivery.

My wife and I just moved from New Jersey to Maryland. It was our first time using movers, so I was unsure of what to expect. Everyone was very nice... and professional. Update 11/5/2021I believe in being fair so I'm updating my review. Sinclair-Mayflower have resolved the issue with my refund. USPS has been really... slow with mail delivery. After my first refund check was returned due to address error. I was sent out another and it still hasn't arrived but That check was canceled and another shipped overnight. Again I can't stress enough the mover we had were great and customer service was great only hiccup was the refund but things were beyond there control. I would recommend their service and use them again if needed in the future. Cathy and Julie thanks for everything!Update 10/18/2021...I have to take some stars away. I'm due a refund. I was told to up front that if I was due a refund it would take up to 30 days. No problem with the refund policy but what I do have a problem with is My move was August 28 I expected my refund by September 28th. Its now October 18 and I still have not received it.. I have was then told they would check with billing and get back to me the next day well it's a week later and still no word on my refund. I I sent several follow up emails and decided to call today. I left a message still waiting to here back. I still give the movers 5 star but the handling of my refund is not 5 star service!!! IlI want to give our Sinclair movers a 5 star rating. These gentleman arrived 30 minutes ahead of schedule. They were remarkable. They handled our belongs with care. Wrapped our furniture to protect it. I was expecting this to be an all day job but it wasn't. We moved from a 1500 Sq foot 3 bedroom to the top floor of our new place. They still did not miss a beat. I'm so upset because I only remember one of the movers names(Reece). We were pleased and tipped to show our appreciation. Moving is stressful enough but This Crew was the best no stress here. It even started raining really hard but they didn't let that stop them!!! everything was dry. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! If you are looking for a moving company, go no further....!You cannot go wrong with Sinclair Moving & Storage---I do not give 5 stars,...that ... often, but Sinclair deserves it..!From your first phone call to Julie or Erin....to the estimate by Ed...everything goes smooth;y----And, when I first used Sinclair their prices were the best-! I have used them 3 times & my friend used them last year- & he thanked me for my advice...As an example- when using them the first time a few years ago- the move took less time than expected & Julie sent me a small refund check...!! I don't move often. When I do, I am overwhelmed with who I am going to pick and will I get a fair deal. I worry about who is coming to move me. ... What are they like. I want you to know how wonderful my experience was in the move your guys did for me on Dec 30 from Medford to Island Heights. Lou, QC, Michael and... Tate(?) were professional and helpful. They were very efficient as well as careful in moving furniture out of 1 house and into a smaller one. They helped me refine a few decisions in placement in small rooms and made sure I was pleased once a piece was put in. I could not have asked for better service. Clearly they enjoyed working with each other and made a very stressful time easy for me with their cordial approach. i have moved more times than I care to remember and never have I experienced a team quite like Sinclair. Their professionalism, care, speed, and... communication was second to none. They moved our furniture like it was their own. They kept both the move out home and the move in home clean as it was before they came. I must also note that the day of the move out the weather was horrible and they carefully protected all our furniture from the elements.I would highly recommend them for all the reasons one would look for. value vs price, timeliness, protection of goods and friendliness. i can't say enough good things. i have never moved more than under an hour, and for my first experience NJ to CO, i highly recommend them for any... type of move. the estimate was on point- you get what you pay for when it comes to moving. if i had extra money & the option to do it all again, i would have let them pack my stuff up too. their team was friendly as well as professional. my belongings arrived quickly, despite the fact that i moved around a holiday weekend. the leg of one of my chairs had broken in transit, but the claim process was quick and painless. i've already recommended them to one of my former coworkers, and if anyone asks, i'd recommend them again. I write this note to compliment the professional manner Sinclair Moving used to estimate the cost of our transcontinental move, and for the crew... Sinclair sent to pack our home.The crew worked as a coordinated team. They were efficient, clean, careful, and steady for 6 hours. At the same time, they were friendly, accommodating, informative, and patient. The team leader Sean knew his job. Ryan the inventory guy with stickers on every box and item knew his. Fernando packed a mean dish box. And Ty and Steve were strong and consistent. Nothing got banged on dinged on the walls exiting the house. They all shared work.We're extremely pleased so far that we chose Sinclair. If the rest of our move (that includes storage at Sinclair, followed by transcontinental moving) unfolds like the packing and local warehousing, we'll be doing great. We had to move twice in 6 months. The first move half of our items were going to one location (under construction) & the other half to the residence... we are currently at. We are using them again to help us now move from our residence to that property that was under construction. This company is FANTASTIC ! The office staff (Julie) is terrific & so understanding of our unique situation. Nick (sales dept) came out to our home & gave an estimate (price to move a 2 story home w/full basement was so inexpensive) & actually the movers themselves were so professional, courteous & respectful that they were done early & we even received money back! We even asked if possible can they send the same guys out who helped us in January. They used blankets to wrap furniture, disassembled large furniture pieces & put them back together, used blankets for the floors, on time & quick ! I have used Sinclair Moving and Storage for both my residential moves and also for commercial moves where I worked. In both cases I had great... experiences, They moved my home and also my fathers and in both cases the job was completed carefully and on time. All moves are stressful but I would recommend Sinclair without skipping a beat, they helped me get through some very trying times without stress. As far as my work moves, I always felt that once they were on site I did not have to worry, the moves would take place without any issues. Of course there are always some issues that would come up but they were always handled professionally and quickly.
